Bachelorette Party Murder Mystery FAQs

Everything MOHs and bridesmaids ask us about hosting murder mystery games at bachelorette parties.

?

How long does it take?

About 2-3 hours depending on your group. You can stretch it longer with drinks and dinner, or speed it up if you're short on time. Totally flexible for your bach weekend schedule.

?

Can we play drunk?

YES. In fact, most bachelorette groups play with cocktails in hand. The game is designed to be fun even (especially?) with drinks involved. Just make sure the MOH stays sober-ish to help facilitate.

?

Do we need to print everything?

The incuded Host Playbook will outline what you need. Most Airbnbs/hotels have printers or you can use FedEx/Staples.

?

What if some bridesmaids are shy?

The game is designed so no one has to "perform" or act. You just chat naturally with your character's goals in mind. Even shy bridesmaids get into it because it doesn't feel like acting.

?

Can we play at a restaurant or bar?

It works best at a house/Airbnb where you can spread out and get loud. But you COULD do it at a private dining room if it's quiet enough. We don't recommend bars—too loud and distracting.

?

Is this appropriate for the bride's mom/aunt?

Our games range from PG-13 to R-rated. If you're bringing family, go with "A Court in Chaos" (cleanest) or "Buckin' for Blood" (mild). Avoid "Trailer Park" for mixed groups—it gets wild.

?

How many bridesmaids do we need?

Our games work for groups of 6-36+ bridesmaids. Each game lists the ideal player count on the product page. Small intimate bach or huge group—we've got you covered.

?

What if someone has to leave early?

The games are flexible enough that if a bridesmaid needs to leave early, the others can continue. We recommend she shares her secrets with the group before leaving so the mystery stays solvable.
